Hi Guys Recently had me engine rebuilt and after abut 6 weeks I noticed that the oil light was flickering on tickover after a short journey of 10 miles or so. I fitted an oil pressure guage and found that once warmed the oil pressure on tickover is less than 5 and when drivin g at 30 - 40 mph rises to around 20. This seems to low to me any ideas what it shold be please? I have morrisons 30 oil in it Thanks Tim

Hi Timcho, welcome, it is low, what engine are we talking about? aircooled,watercooled, petrol, diesel? who rebuilt it and what was new? is the oil pressure guage correct or is it only a faulty pressure switch? regards, Tam
