Hi everyone!

I'm Evelien, i'm 28 years old, and i'm from Belgium. But I guess the more important thing here is my VW bus.

I own a 1977 T2B baywindow, camper conversion with a sheldon hightop roof. It has a replacement original engine (1600cc); the bus needed a replacement engine when i bought it in february this year because the previous owner played around with it too much... (can't really explain what went wrong, i don't know the correct technical terms in english, but trust me when i say it was far beyond salvation). Paintjob and everything else is still original, including the original home-made interior (from the seventies conversion). It's horrible and totally impractical, but i can live with it for now.

I joined this forum when i stumbled across it looking for interesting campsites in the UK (I'm planning a trip to Wales next summer). I'm not a technical specialist yet (I can change tires, change the oil, charge the battery, chance headlights, and... that's about it for now :-s). I've signed up for a course in 'oldtimer mechanics' starting september, so hopefully that will change for the better soon. For now, I'm most interested in other travellers' stories and campingtips, and I will happily share mine (although my current knowledge is mostly limited to Belgium only). If you want to know anything else, please feel free to ask.

Hi Evelien and welcome!   Best campsite I have found in Wales is at Llandovery, in the Brecon Beacons, our host is in Wales, he will be along soon to correct me!
No-one ever reads this bit anyway!

Welcome Evelin, We hope everything works out for you and the camper.

Thanks for coming to Class Campers. Oh and on a side note I think that Class Campers is based in Wales

Yeap im here and the Llandovery site is great, but you cant beat North Wales for the views. Try the site at Shell Island. It is the largest campsite in Europe, which sounds awful but it is in a amazing place and cant be reached at high tide.

It also has a bar!
