Hi,

Recently after buying a '66 splitty the engine decided to give up, something to do with the one of the pistons cracked! .

I was always going to eventually buy an engine anyway as we are planning a trip around europe, just wondering if anyone can recommend a good engine or somewhere that sells good quality engines.

I am looking for around a 2.0l TD watercooled, any modifications to the van engine bay would want to be avoided, can anyone help me or know of an engine that will fit in nicely and around that engine spec??

Right, so you know that you will have to have the radiators under the van as I can really see where ealse you can have them. I will make some enquiries for you and see what I can come up with.

I know someone that put a Peugeot diesel in one but that is all the information I can give at this stage but I will ask him today
