How? Why? Where?
Nomadic Camping was launched at the beginning of 2008 as the UK’s No.1 Alternative Camping Directory. Three years of research has produced a wealth of camping and travelling information including where to buy/hire a Tipi/Yurt…magical campsites hidden away from the tourist routes, wonderful road-trips in classic VW Campers, full listings of all the best UK festivals and an endless amount of creative and inspiring trade’s people.
The incredible early success of our web site has encouraged us to take the next leap – Europe!
Yes, we’re heading to Europe to collate a European version of Nomadic Camping.
The first leg of our journey will begin in September 2008, covering the North and West coast of France, onto Northern Spain, down the Spanish West coast, through into Portugal joining Spain again in the South. At this point we will take a break in Morocco before starting the second leg, which will include travelling up the East coast of Spain, into the South of France before heading back to the UK for the summer of 2009. We will then prepare our next leg for 2009-10.
We will be travelling by VW Camper (T2), plus our faithfully Tipi will accompany us (for long stays).
