Very easy. Use a 6mm allen wrench (in a socket makes it easier to turn) and pull alll 12 and the axle drops off.
Take it to your workbench and tap the metal boot flange back with a punch.
remove the snap-ring on the outside of the shaft with a rag over the cv so the spring cup-type washer doesn't get lost (you need it).
Clean the cv in kerosene and final flush with brakleen then inspect. No bad pits or flakes and you can re-pack it and reuse (heck, I've even reused awful cv's and was OK for several hundred miles until I could replace them).
clean out the boots or install your new boots (over the inside snap ring) and put a couple tablespoons of grease in there (smear with finger... use moly disc brake axle grease).
Then reinstall the cv and push the boot flange over the cv lip.
Now, put the axle cv side up on a block of wood and put the cup washer on the axle and work the snap ring down as far as you can. Now take a piece of tubing or deep well socket and smack it down ont he snap ring until it compresses the cup washers and seats the ring in the groove.
Repeat for the other cv then repeat whole thing for other side!
